Obituary of Morris Barclay

Morris “Jones” Barclay, 84, of Irvington passed away on June 30th, 2024 in Irvington.

Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home 153 South Orange Ave. South Orange, on Friday, July 5^th from 10:00 - 11:00AM. The Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Rosedale Cemetery in Montclair at 12:00 PM.

Morris was born in Georgetown, Guyana where he worked as an Electrician. After retirement he emigrated to the United States and settled in Irvington to live with his family.

Morris is predeceased by his daughter Dornia Jones and son Leslie Jones. He is survived by his children, Lorraine Jones Austin, Cecelia Greene, Andre Jones, Sharon Jones, Harmon Jones and  Rene Talbot mother of his children.
