Loving Husband Father and Grandfather

Edward P. Drummond, Sr. of Springfield passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

The family will be receiving friends at St. James Church 45 S. Springfield Ave, Springfield on Thursday, July 18^th from 9:00 – 10:00 AM followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM.

Mr. Drummond was born on April 29, 1937 in Summit, NJ to Violet and Robert Drummond. After graduating Millburn High School he enlisted in the US Air Force spending time in Guam, Spain and France.

He was the beloved husband of his childhood sweetheart Kathryn Barr for 63 years. He had three children Ed Jr. (Denise), Kathy Hodic (Mike) and Colleen Sarracino (Luigi). He was the cherished grandfather to Patrick, Pauline, Catie, Will, Frankie and Michael, brother-in-law to John Barr (Francoise) and John Dalton. He was predeceased by his parents Violet and Robert Drummond, siblings Robert Jr., Ruth Dalton and Barbara Dunlap and her husband Lynn Dunlap.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905 would be appreciated.
