Obituary of M. Joseph Montuoro

M. Joseph Montuoro, age 90, of New Providence and Naples, Fl. Formerly of Short Hills, NJ passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024 at his home.

Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Avenue, Maplewood, on Wednesday, July 24th from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Avenue, Short Hills, on Thursday, July 25th at 11:15 am. Interment will be private.

Joe was born in Brooklyn, NY. He earned both his bachelors and master’s degree at the University of Pittsburgh. Joe was the President and founder of RPM Sales, from 1969 to 1991. The company started in New York City before moving to Edison, New Jersey. He served as the Chairman of the Board of N.J.N. Networks as well as the Commissioner at The NJ Sports & Exposition Authority from the 1990’s to early 2000’s.

Joe is predeceased by his wife, Barbara and son Joseph. He is survived by his son, Mark (Susan), his daughter, Stephanie Bellamy (James), and his five grandchildren, Steven Montuoro, Kimberly Montuoro, Brandon Bellamy, Jackson Montuoro and Anya Montuoro.
