Obituary of Robina Alyse Crawford

Robina Crawford passed on July 24, 2024 at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. She was born to Janet Crawford and Dennis Crawford on January 16, 1965 in Los Angeles, California.

 Though affectionately known as Bina, her many nicknames included Bean Bean, Sweet Pea and as a toddler, Ricochet Rabbit. She graduated with honors from Clifford J. Scott High School in East Orange, and worked for many years in the audit department at Midlantic Bank. More recently she worked in retail.

 All who knew her will remember Bina’s warmth, kindness, giving nature and generosity. She was always there for friends and family, offering assistance organizing, straightening up, cooking and crafting for parties and special occasions. And oh, how Bina loved a party! She could be counted on to plan, prepare, decorate, dress up, socialize, eat and dance – lighting up the room with her exuberance, unforgettable smile and sparkling eyes: “How ya doin’ darlin’?”

 Bina leaves behind her furry sidekick, Blue Ivory, a loving family, including her sister Robyn, sister-in-law Lisa, niece and nephew Ren and Jeremy, her Aunt Joyce and Uncle Robert, and a host of cousins, including Dollie, Eugene, Kenny, Gayle, Glenn, Derrick, Lamont, Kevin, Kent, Kyle, David, Nicole, Felicia and Amina. She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis "Marty" Crawford, Jr.

 2^nd Corinthians 5.8 (KJV) - We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.
