Obituary of Geraldine Engel Kaupp

Geraldine Engel Kaupp, 75, died peacefully on July 22, 2024.

Loving and devoted wife to Bill Kaupp, her husband of 53 years, mother of W. Gordon Kaupp, Caroline Kimball, and Elizabeth Kaupp, mother-in-law of Beth Feinberg and James Kimball, grandmother of Ella and Dylan Kaupp and Cora and Julia Kimball, sister of Barbara Alkiewicz, and an aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her dear parents Hildegard and Joseph Engel and her beloved sisters, Patricia Gallagher and Jacqueline Payer.

Geri was a graduate of Finch College and majored in English. After becoming a mother, Geri co-founded an interior design company and later went out on her own. Her work was featured in multiple design magazines. In addition to the residential and commercial interior design she did for her clients, she turned each of her homes into masterpieces often with whole-house renovations and always with success. She had a passion for gardening and anything design related. Geri will be deeply missed by her family and friends who will forever cherish her warmth, humor, generosity, and kind spirit.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21st at 10:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima, 50 Short Hills Avenue, Short Hills, N.J.
