Joe Tucker posted a condolence

Dear friends,
I knew Henry for a brief time at Portsmouth Abbey School, where I was a senior
and Henry was a sophomore. We played music together in a little band and got
to play for the whole school one time. I remember our set: Get Back, Blue Sky,
Around and Around, Sugar Magnolia, and Amnesia (Pousette-Dart Band). Henry
was just a young guy, but he had a knack for music and held the group together.
I was just thinking about our group and wondered about Henry. I am sad to learn
of his passing, but I am glad that he had good friends and family, continued to love music,
and of course the Red Sox!
Peace and light to all,
Joe Tucker PAS '79

Karen and Family,
We are so very sorry for your loss.
It was very sad hearing the news... Especially since Henry and I had fallen out of touch in recent years.
It is hard to believe that Henry and I were college roommates at Providence College almost 40 years ago! Not sure where time has gone? Thinking back, I have clear memories of all the fun times we shared together.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Love, Dan & Carol Clancy

Henry was one of the first people I met when working in Manhattan. I started doing his crossword puzzle, not knowing it was his puzzle, and that gave him great material to roast me, which was his way of welcoming me to the team. He had a wry sense of humor that hid his soft heart. Remembering him fondly and wishing comfort to his family knowing his loss is felt by many.

Cynthia and family, please accept my condolences on Henry's passing. I never met Henry but you and I shared lots of laughter as you recounted the escapades of childhood in the Hamel family. May your memories of Henry sustain you at this sad time and cheer you in the days to come. May the God of all comfort be your Comforter. Much love.

Dear Henry. We will miss you. I will never forget the many summers I spent in South Orange with you and the family. You were like an older brother who drove us to the Jersey shore, to the water parks, to the cinema, etc I listened to you playing music and playing basketball. You will always be in my heart. Tina
