Obituary of Clarence C. Scott

Clarence Scott was born in Grenada West Indies on 09/03/1932, in the village of Diegopiece, St Marks, Grenada to Michael and Cislee Scott. After his father’s death, as a toddler, Scotty and his mom migrated to Trinidad. There he was raised by his grandparents. As a young man he was well known in the neighborhood for his Cricket skills and his singing ability. He was employed by Grenada’s Cable and Wireless company for more than 27 plus years. While there he was well respected for his skills and well acknowledged throughout Grenada for his excellent work with the telephone company. He was known as “Flash” for his outstanding sense of style in dressing. Scotty was a man of many talents, apart from his work at the telephone company, he was a farmer, electrician, carpenter, expert mason, and a skilled hunter. He was a Bible scholar and a fiery preacher. Cuz Clarence Scotty, as he was known in his family will be missed. His favorite Bible text was Psalms chapter 1. He leaves to mourn his wife Cynthia of 31 years and her 9 children and numerous grands and great grands. His children from a previous marriage, his 2 brothers, Clary and Corby and sister Caran. His aunt Grace Lynda and her children. Cousins Frankie Alexander, Ronald Bevy Scott and Davis Alexander   Many nieces, nephews, and family too large to mention everyone.

May you rest in peace, until we meet again.
