So sorry to hear of John's passing. I will miss him asking about my knee. Never complained about himself but always asked about how my knee was doing and giving advice. I will miss our talks. David from across the street.

"into each life a little rain must fall, John Wayne 1949". My dad would always quote this whenever I stumbled or got hurt. Rest easy POP, thank you for all the life lessons you taught me. You'll always be with us, now find Mom and be happy and at peace once again. Once a Marine always a Marine. SEMPER FIDELIS.

John was a good man and it was my pleasure to have known him. I grew up alongside of his children. His daughter has been my best friend for many years. I've had the honor of knowing both of Laura's parents. I have good memories of going to the shooting range and meeting up with John there. Godspeed Sir. You will be missed.
