Obituary of Kathleen E. Donohue

Kathleen Elizabeth Donohue, age 53, passed away early Tuesday morning January 23, 2018. She had been residing at the Morris View Healthcare Center in Morris Plains since September 2016. Prior to that she resided with Partnerships for People at their group homes in Kenilworth and Linden, NJ. Kathleen was born in Newark, and lived there until she moved to West Caldwell with her beloved parents, Joseph and Winifred, who predeceased her. Kathleen is survived by her brothers: Joseph Donohue and his wife. Mary; Timothy Donohue and his wife Nina, and James Donohue and his wife Dawn, and her sister-in-law Kathy Buckley Donohue, widow of her brother John Donohue. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Joseph Donohue, Alison Donohue, Kylene Miller, Kevin Donohue, Mary Juliet Donohue, Caitlin Donohue, and Brian Donohue. Her family gathered to mourn her passing on Saturday, January 27, 2018. She was interred at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Donations may be made in her name to Global Down Syndrome Foundation, researching the links between Down Syndrome and Alzheimer’s Disease.
