Obituary of Joella J. Beimfohr

Mrs. Beimfohr served on the Board of Directors of the American Paralysis Association, the Stifel Paralysis Foundation, and the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey, and chaired the re-opening celebration for the new Playhouse in 1982. She also served on the Millburn-Short Hills First Aid Squad and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Women's Metropolitan Golf Association and the Women's New Jersey Golf Association. Mrs. Beimfohr was an avid and accomplished genealogist, researching and compiling information on various family histories going back hundreds of years. A memorial service will be held at Wyoming Presbyterian Church, 432 Wyoming Avenue, Millburn, New Jersey, on Saturday, November 19 at 10:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marissa Historical and Genealogical Society, P.O. Box 47, Marissa, Illinois 62257-0047 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
