Johansson --- Suddenly On Wednesday, December 28, 2005 Carrieanne Johansson of Haledon and Gillette formerly of South Orange. Beloved daughter of Timothy Johansson and Deborah Johansson-Schubert. Devoted sister of Melody Johansson. Loving grandaughter of Joseph Gessner. Dear niece of Joseph Gessner, Jacquelyn and Carl Johansson. Step daughter of Joseph Schubert and Diane Johansson. Also survived by several loving cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at Prospect Presbyterian Church, 646 Prospect St, Maplewood on Wed, Jan 4th at 11:00 AM. Entombment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, E. Hanover. Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home 153 South Orange Ave, South Orange on Tuesday, 2-4 & 7-9 PM. In lieu of flowers donation to Valley Hospice, 15 Essex Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652 would be appreciated.
Carrieanne Johansson was a sister, a daughter, cousin, niece, granddaughter and friend.
Carrie graduated from Columbia High School in Maplewood in 1997.
She was part of the Columbia High School Varsity Football Cheerleading Squad for 4 years.
She was a Dancer for 12 years of her life at Betty White Dance Studio.
She gained an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology at the University of Tampa, in Florida, where she studied abroad for 6 months in Australia at Griffin University with Austrialearn.
She also gained her Masters in Social Work in 2004 at Monmouth University.
Carrie was currently working at Somerset Handicapped Children's treatment Center in Bridgewater, NJ
She was a counselor at Karney Kare House (group home)
She was a bartender at the Chimney Rock Inn
Carrie will be greatly missed by her family and friends
