Mary A. Leicht, WWII Veteran, Mother of 8
Mary A. Leicht (nee Whitley), 84, of Lakewood formerly of Newark passed away peacefully at home with her family at her bedside on Thursday August 17th.
She is the loving wife of Bill Leicht, dear sister of Margaret Coakley, and devoted mother of her children and their spouses Peg and John Vanore of Suffern, NY; Barbara and Dino Romano of Toms River, NJ; Bob and Nancy Leicht of Oak Ridge, TN; Cathy and Glenn Crane of Colonia, NJ; Mary and Russ Fenton of Mentor, Oh; Bill and Yevette Leicht of Bethlehem, Pa; Steve Leicht of Rockaway, NJ and Liz Leicht ofScotch Plains, NJ, she is als survived by14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Sacred Heart Church Vailsburg, 481 Sanford Ave, Newark, on Monday Aug. 21, at 11a.m. The interment will take place at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. A visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Milllburn Ave. Maplewood, on Saturday 7-9 PM and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
