Obituary of Tessie E. Ricca

Tessie E. Ricca (nee Parente), 98, of Maplewood, N.J., died on Jan. 6, 2012, at Overlook Medical Center, Summit, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills, N.J., on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Short Hills. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. A homemaker, she was a member of Madonna del'Assunta at St. Rose of Lima Church. Mrs. Ricca was the beloved wife of the late James P. Ricca; devoted mother of Blanche Simpson and her husband, Ken, and Theresa Donahue and her husband, Billy, and loving grandmother of John Simpson, Lori Van Orden and her husband, Gregg, and Jamie Kerr and her husband, Chris. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tenn. 38105-1905, would be appreciated.
