My heart goes out to the entire McGuire family during this heartbreaking time. Craig was not only one of my best friends, but a brother as well. To say that he made lasting positive impressions on many people is an understatement, and I will miss his jovial character. Life can be so unfair, and is always too short.

29 years ago we met in Mrs. Arnold's Kindergarten class at Jefferson. 29 years, and still it's not enough time to have had with you. You loved me like a brother and I will miss your kindness and warmth for the rest of my days. Peace to you my brother.

I don't know where to begin with Craig. We first met at Jefferson I was 9 and he was 8. He was jumping off a wall. It seems like yesterday. I can only remember fun times. Like going to the Palladium in High School...skiing in Montreal. . Driving to Boca and spending spring break at his place in Deerfield. And getting kicked out of Canada with him which should have been a really bad time...but we turned it into a mission and road trip. If you knew Craig he was always one to never accept the word no. Saying he will be missed is understatement. Saying that he will always be loved is blessed thing. He is and always will be a part of my family and one of my brothers...May he be in eternal happiness.

Words can never express a mother's loss of her child and I as a mother will not try. I can only pray for Craig's mother and family and ask that God intervenes and brings her peace. Craig stands out in my mind of all my sons' friends as being a gentle and kind spirit (which is a rarity among our young people today). I thank his Mom for having raised such a wonderful son and am very happy that I had the opportunity to meet him and share such happy times.
Sincerely,
Ruth "SilkyW Waters

My deepest sympathies to the Mcguire family. Some of the many activities Craig and I enjoyed together: skiing, going to Giants games, golfing, and just sitting on the beach. They will all remind me of him always. He will be missed by my entire family - he gave a big wet kiss to my baby daughter only 2 months ago.

Mr. and Mrs. McGuire, Kenny and John -
I'm very sad to hear of Craig's passing. I hadn't seen Craig for over 20 years, so I remember him as the terrific kid that he was. He was so friendly, with that great smile and laugh. I remember how much I liked him from the first time I met him. I spoke with him a few months ago and he seemed like the same terrific person I remembered. What a terrible loss.
I hope that you can draw strength from each other to get through this difficult time.

Dear Ken, Sheila and family,
You must know how saddened we are by Craig's passing. We don't have words to comfort you but pray that your wonderful memories of that sweet young man with the magic smile.
I have 2 lovely stories. When Craig first started working for us, I could never read the small print on the rate sheets. I always asked Craig, with his young eyes, to read them for me. For Christmas that year he bought me a pretty, small hand held maginfying glass!
Then there was the time I was facing some surgery and as I left the office the night before, everyone said the perfunctory, "Oh, good luck." Craig just blushed and looked at me, opened his arms wide and came to give me a big hug!
We wish you all the strength to continue. He was a lovely young man who loved his family and spoke fondly of you all quite often.
You are in our hearts and our prayers.
Love,
Marilyn and Ralph Labendz

I will never forget Craig's sparkling blue eyes, his ability to make me laugh even when I was feeling lousy, the way he would say "Cheer up, darlin'!" in a way that I knew he meant it. Craig managed to be an extraordinarily compassionate and empathetic person while being fun and light-hearted, a rare and precious combination of characteristics. Craig always brightened up a room and made everybody laugh. He loved his family, got excited about things like what Christmas presents he had bought his nephews and niece. I will miss Craig's laugh and his smile and I am so sorry. I will treasure my memories of him.

Craig was the kind of guy you meet once and never forget. He told it like it was, and we could always share a good laugh together.
The first and one of the best memories I have of Craig is the day I met him. It was in 10th grade Spanish class. We were seated side by side and immediately befriended eachother. You see, we both shared the same state of mind, a rebellious one! We sat in that class together all year and had a great time - not necessarily learning Spanish, but getting to know a life long friend I will never forget. I will miss him.
I've been out of town but I want the McGuire's to know that Craig has been in my thoughts every day. And please except my very deepest sympothys for the loss of Craig, a Son, a Brother, an Uncle, and my friend.

I will always remember Craig for his brilliant and honest ear to ear smile, his silliness and understanding of my silliness, and his true, generous, and innocent nature. I don't think I ever saw Craig really sad or angry. Not to say he never was, of course everyone is at times. But the face I always saw and will remember exuded his warm, honorable soul, the sincerity of his friendship, and his joyfull spirit. He was a dear friend. He was one of the good ones. My deepest sympathies to the McGuires and all extended family as well. I will miss him greatly and forever as we all will; but rest assured he is among the angels in peace.

I only found out about Craig yesterday. Craig was my first boyfriend. We were together from the time we were 18 until we were 25. We were able to remain in touch and spoke two months before he left us. I always told Craig that he was the best person I ever knew. He was fair, trustworthy and kind and made other people feel better about themselves. He was such a genuine person. He lived his life with true wisdom because he always followed his heart. To the McGuires, I can\\\'t put into words how sorry I am. I hope all the love that everyone has for Craig has given you comfort. I have so many memories of Craig and your family that I will keep close to my heart forever.
Love,
Amy
