HEUGH Mary Connell Heugh Member of church groups and bridge club in Short Hills Lived in Normandy Beach and Florida, 83 Mrs. Mary Connell Heugh, 83, of Palm City, Fla., and Normandy Beach died on Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at her home in Normandy Beach. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church, 50 Short Hills Ave., Short Hills, on Tuesday, Jan. 16, at 11:15 a.m. Interment will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Short Hills. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, please visit jacobhollefuneralhome.com. Born in Charlestown, W.Va., Mrs. Heugh, a homemaker, lived in Newport News, Va., Short Hills and Normandy Beach, and also maintained a residence in Palm City, Fla., for the past 29 years. A volunteer at Martin Memorial Hospital, Stuart, Fla., Mrs. Heugh was a member of the Stuart Womens Club and a parishioner at Holy Redeemer Church in Stuart. In New Jersey, she was a parishioner at Our Lady of Peace Church, Normandy Beach; a member of the St. Rose of Lima Ladies Auxiliary and Rosary Society in Short Hills, the Assorted Nuts Bridge Club in Short Hills, and the Maplewood Country Club, and a volunteer with Mealson-Wheels in Millburn. She was the beloved wife of the late John W. Connell and William C. Heugh; devoted mother of James of Orcas Island, Wash., Michael of Readington, N.J., and Mark Connell of Toms River, N.J.; dear sister of Betty Carroll and the late James Rinker, and is also survived by four grandchildren and two step-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to Martin Memorial Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 9010, Stuart, Fla. 34995 would be appreciated.
