To Rachel & Valerie: At this difficult time, I know that you will be there for John, as you were for me when your Dad passed away in 1996. Your Mother would be proud of the bedside support you gave her and the help you've been to John. I know these past 10 days have been agonizing for you. Love, Betty

Dear John,Valerie Koch and grandaughters Sophia and Savannah, and Rachel Ammon:
Our sincere condolences on the passing of your wife, mother and grandmother. Marty Redman Donofrio was a special person--but that is not news to you.
Luanne and I as well as the Total Biz Fulfillment family have known Marty since she and John created Briarpatch Games. Marty was not only an inspired game and puzzle inventor but also a person who loved to give fun and learning opportunities to children. She additionally was an astute businessperson who teamed with John created an inspirational business development story--Briarpatch Games.
Marty's life went far beyond an inventor and a businessperson. Marty cared very much for our environment and the animals and we lover her for it.
We will miss Marty heartily but we are inspired to follow in her footsteps.
Love,
Gary and Luanne Ruddell and the Total Biz Fulfillment family

Dear Val and Rachael: I write this with tears in my eyes. The premature losses of your loving parents brings on such bipolar emotions-grief and deep sadness, yet fond memories of the wonderful impact they had on us all. I treasured your mom and dad's friendship, inspirational guidance, emotional support and the opportunity I had to share in their lives with both of you. You came from the best. Most sincerely, I share this loss with you. Love, Mike ("The Bear") Mawhinney

Except for our earliest years, our lives did not overlap very much. My friends were boys and the outdoors, Martie's, girls and the indoors. Bob and I sort of vied for her favor and I felt that I usually lost. By the time I really noticed her she was a star at everything she attempted, especially in school. This trend would certainly have to be considered consistent to the end. I am certainly sorry that it ended so soon.
