I am going to miss her so much. She was one of the highest spirited people I have ever met. Unfortunately her body was not accommodating to that Great Spirit. Even in her most down times she gave to people. She made me laugh and gave me hope.
Her antics will always be remembered from her times in South Orange and Orange to her days in Bound Brook. Sherri enjoyed life.
Her children were every thing to her and she beamed with pride over them, fought every system and God help the person or people that tried to mess with them.
Sherri’s and Fred’s devotion to each other was unyielding and an amazing thing to witness. I am thankful for the privilege. They truly took care of each other.
She was a true champion of other children in her life. She stepped in and gave a hand whenever it was needed. She was sent by the angels to help me in a time of struggle and took care of my daughter with great love at a time of need. She gave me peace of mind so that I could go forward to provide for my family.
She struggled everyday with pain and just breathing was a gift to her. I will never again get that phone call asking me if everything is okay or her telling me that she just can’t take it anymore. We always ended up in gut wrenching laugher, getting each other through.
Getting to know Sherri was truly a great gift and one that I will treasure always. I was and will always be grateful for the gift from God of allowing me the time to spend with this incredible soul.
It seems surreal that she is gone right now. I am afraid of when it truly strikes home that this wonderful person is no longer with us on this earth but I have no doubt that her spirit will be with us forever.
