Obituary of Charles D. Gibbons

Charles D. Gibbons, 49, of Maplewood, formerly of Parsippany, died on Sept. 15, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Rahway. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Josephs Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Friday, Sept. 21, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Born in Scotland, Mr. Gibbons lived in Parsippany before moving to Maplewood nine years ago. He was a self-employed painter for many years and was a member of St. Josephs Church in Maplewood. He was the devoted father of Aidan and Conor Gibbons; loving son of Thomas and Mary Gibbons; dear brother of Betty McGlynn and Pauline McGuire, and loving friend of Carol Raab.
