Obituary of Patricia Flynn

Patricia Rears Flynn, 77, of South Orange, N.J., died on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, at home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Monday, Feb. 13, at 9:30 a.m. Interment is at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Born in Newark, N.J., Patricia lived in South Orange for 47 years. She was a tax collector for the Township of South Orange, where she worked from 1974 until retiring in 2002. Patricia was the devoted mother of James Flynn and his wife, Nancy; Deborah Fresco and her husband, Frank; Mary Beth Gajewski; Amy DeFranco and her husband, Tom, and the late Jane Flynn and Marietta Improta, and loving grandmother of Kayla, Jimmy, Callan, Patrick, Melissa, Martine, Jared, Tommy, Carl, Frank, Meghan, Patricia, Matthew, and Thomas.
