Dominic A. Pacifico, 81, of Union died on Monday, Oct. 8, 2007, in the South Mountain Rehab Center, Vaux Hall. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Josephs Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Friday, Oct. 12, at 10 a.m. Entombment will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Union. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, please visit jacobhollefuneralhome.com.
Born in Millburn, Mr. Pacifico lived in Union for 52 years. He was a machinist with the All Tool Company, Union, from 1967 to 1997, when he retired. Mr. Pacifico was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving from 1944 to 1946. He was a member of the Italian-American Civic Association and the Knights of Columbus Council 3197, both in Hillside, and St. Josephs Church in Maplewood.
He was the beloved husband of Anna Cicalese Pacifico; devoted father of Andrew R. Pacifico, Michele Kull, Thomas D. and Michael A. Pacifico; loving brother of Leonard Pacifico (his twin brother), Mary Policarpio, Terry Carlucci, Gloria Duda, Andrew Pacifico and the late Carmen Pacifico.
