John T. "Jack" Sullivan, 79, of Iselin died on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Saturday, Nov. 3, at 10:30 a.m. Interment is in Hanover Green Cemetery, Hanover Township, Pa. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, please visit jacobhollefuneralhome.com. Born in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Mr. Sullivan lived in Iselin for 49 years. He was a truck driver with the Teamsters union in Union City from 1972 to 1993, when he retired. He served in the Merchant Marine for Sunoco Oil Co. in the late 1940s and 1950s and was a lab technician for the Varian Co. in Union from 1950 to 1972. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Mr. Sullivan was the beloved husband of Marjorie Campbell Sullivan and devoted father of Georgette Sullivan-Bauman and her husband, Drew; loving grandfather of Moriah Bauman. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child, 44 Blackburn Rd., Summit, N.J. 07091 would be appreciated.
