Q: What will you never forget about Angelo?
A: I, along with 2 of my friends rented an apartment from Angelo 30 years ago in the early 1990’s while we were students at Seton Hall.
What I’ll never forget about Angelo was that he took a genuine interest in my, and my roommate’s welfare. He would often be around the property fixing or tinkering with something; usually out in the back by the workshed. Angelo always asked how we were doing at school; and was always eager to share his knowledge of the many things he learned in his many years on the planet Nothing was out-of-bounds. I learned how to perfectly steam my “VEGG A TA BELS” and the only way to keep the leather seat of a Harley looking brand-new* even though I didn’t own, aspire or remotely look like someone who would own a Harley).
Angelo, I hope you rest in Peace and I thank you for all the wisdom you took time to share even if I didn’t look like I appreciated it! Also, thank you your service to our country!
* Ps - Angelo’s secret? ….I couldn’t believe it was Windex!
