Albert R. Annucci, 91, of Maplewood, N.J., died at Winchester Gardens. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Friday, June 27, at 9:30 a.m. Interment is in St. Teresas Cemetery, Summit. Visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Born in New York City, Albert was graduated from Brooklyn College and Brooklyn Law School. He was a veteran of the United States Army in World War II and a noted claims attorney for The Johnson and Higgins Firm for 25 years in New York City. As a deeply intellectual and spiritual man, Albert was an amateur poet, a biblical scholar and a keen inventor. He was an active member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, serving on the Peace and Justice Committee and as the leader of the Bible studies group. Serene and unassuming, Albert touched the lives of many and will be fondly remembered. He was the devoted husband of 65 years to Concetta Giampietro Annucci; beloved father of Mary Anne Williams and husband, Richard, Geraldine Castellano and husband, Stephen, and Anthony Joseph Annucci and wife, Linda; treasured brother of Anne Grimolizzi; cherished grandfather of Lisa Fezenko, David Williams, Laura Fasolo, Stephanie Keating, Peter Williams and Alison Minor; adored greatgrandfather of Hannah, Sean, Nicholas and Keira.
