KINSKY Edgar L. 91 of Lake Worth, FL, formerly Maplewood, NJ, and Hillaird, OH on Sunday, July 13, 2008,
Worked for Federal Trust Company and Sun Oil Company until enlistment in United States Naval Reserve of December 2, 1941 as an Apprentice Seamen. Served two years on the USS Mccormick in the North Atlantic on convoy patrol. Transferred to Officers Training School at Northwestern University and graduated as an Ensign USNR on May 10, 1943.
Returned to Sun Oil Co and retired on July 1, 1976. Served in many cities as Office Manager and retired in Newark, NJ as Financial Center Manage.
President South Union, PA PTA 1955. President Hilliard, Ohio PTA 1959. Founder and first President of the Hilliard Little League Baseball Program that included over 500 boys in Peewee, Little League and Pony League.
President of the Maplewood Country Club for three years (1978-1981). President of Oranges and Maplewood Board of Realtors in 1989. Member of Maplewood Economic Development for a number of years in the early 90's. Member of Maplewood Rent Leveling Board (1988-Present). Attended Rutgers in early 1940's.
Beloved husband of the late Beatrice Aber Kinsky. Devoted father of Robert Kinsky and Richard Kinsky and his wife Annmarie. Loving grandfather of Dayna Kinsky. Dear brother of the late Mary Freda.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave, Maplewood on Sat, July 19th at 10:30 AM. Interment Restland Memorial Park, E. Hanover. Visiting hours Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations to American Cancer Society, 767 Northfield Ave, West Orange, NJ 07052 would be appreciated.
