Frances Kelleher died peacefully at her Greenspring home in Springfield, Va. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Thursday, July 31, at 9:30 a.m. Interment is in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. Visitation will be held at the Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, on Wednesday from 6 to 9 p.m. ONLY. For more information or to send condolences, please visit prestonfuneralhome.net. Mrs. Kelleher was born on March 25, 1917, the daughter of John and Agnes Herman. She was preceded in death by her brother, John, and sister, Veronica. She spent her childhood and later raised her family in South Orange. Following graduation from Columbia High School, she received her dental certification. She was an active member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in South Orange and later, St. Theresa Catholic Church in Summit. In 1945, Mrs. Kelleher married Joseph B. Moore (deceased) with whom she had five children, Kevin Moore, Susan Nelson, Joseph Moore, Robert Moore and Carol Cauthorne. Her loving daughter and sons-in-law include, Pat Moore, Beth Chiquoine, Roger Nelson, Sherry Campbell and Roger Thomas. She leaves behind loving grandchildren, Sean, Chris, Kevin, Brian, Michael, Hannah, Nathaniel, Michael, Cassidy (preceded in death), Emily and Elizabeth. In 1974, she married Paul G. Kelleher (deceased) who had 10 children whom she cared for deeply, James Kelleher, Ann Carreiro, Kathy Jaworski, Thomas Kelleher, Kevin Kelleher, Carol Pace, Joan Priest, Sheila Umano, Mary Kelleher and Eileen Criscione. She also had a loving relationship with the 16 Kelleher grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. Memorial donations are appreciated in the memory of her sweet granddaughter, Cassidy Moore, to the Makus Foundation, P.O. Box 28436, Chattanooga, Tenn. 37424.
