As a next door neighbor, I was privy to being kept informed on local events by Dorothy, who also kept company with my Mom for many years sharing mutual interests and travels. She'll be missed by many of us mortals. -ph

My mother, Alice Hanke, who died in 2002, was a neighbor and best friend of Dorothy's. They were in church & Woman's Club together and mom drove Dorothy to all the local social activities. I'm sure the two of them are already busy seeing what they can organize and do together on yet a new adventure in their lives. My sympathies to the family, Dorothy was a wonderful humanitarian and friend.
