Henry N. Colter, 84, of Summit, formerly of South Orange, died Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008, at Wanaque Center, Haskell. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at The Episcopal Church of St. Andrew and Holy Communion, 160 W. Born in Orange, Mr. Colter lived in South Orange for most of his life before moving to Summit three years ago. He attended Syracuse University and served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in Europe in World War II. Before retiring, he was a self-employed signage contractor.
Mr. Colter is survived by his brother, Rudyard M. Colter of Shelburne, Vt.; nephew, Carter L. Colter of Milford, Ct., niece, Carolee F. Colter of B.C., Canada, and nephew, Christopher Colter of Placerville, Colo.
