Obituary of Patricia B. Lewis

Patricia Brazeel Lewis, 60, of Maplewood died on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at Saint Barnabas Hospital, Livingston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at First Presbyterian & Trinity Church, 111 Irvington Ave., South Orange, on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 8 p.m. Interment is private. Born in Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Lewis lived in Maplewood for the past 23 years. She was a secretary for the South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education for 13 years before retiring in 2006. Mrs. Lewis graduated from Samford University in Alabama. She was a past chairwoman for the Family Support Council of Essex County. Mrs. Lewis was the beloved wife of Michael A. Lewis; devoted mother of Monica and Drew Lewis, and dear sister of Darlene Neely, Becky and Skip Brazeel.
