Louis Gino Bianchini, 85, of South Orange died on Friday, April 10, 2009 in St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Tuesday, April 14, at 9:30 a.m. Entombment is in St. Stephen's Cemetery, Millburn. Visitation will be held at the Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Born in Muro Lucano, Italy, Mr. Bianchini lived in South Orange for 46 years. He was a tailor and the owner of Casual Look from 1989 to 1999. Previously, he owned Janus Dry Cleaning and Tailoring, Short Hills, from 1970 to 1980. Mr. Bianchini was a member of Casa Italiano, South Orange, and had served in the Italian Navy.
He was the beloved husband of 55 years to Angela Lanza Bianchini; devoted father of Donald, Anthony, Gino Bianchini, and Mirella Lomax; dear brother of Donatella Zarriello and Pasquale Bianchini; also survived by 10 grandchildren.
