Dear Mrs. Kemi Aborisade & Family,
My name is Mavis Bennett, and I knew Charles many years from working at TD Waterhouse. We worked in the same department at TD, and we also attended the Masters Degree program at Saint Peter's College at the same time.
My heart is deeply saddened, but I know that he is with God. Charles was a true friend and colleague. I will always remember him as a family man, friend, counselor, adviser, and the list goes on. I had spoken to Charles last week to tell him that after being out of work for so long (due to the recession) that I finally had an interview, and we laughed because the interview was with TD Waterhouse (Ameritrade). I will miss Charles, and I know he will be missed by many.
My thoughts and prayers will be extended to you and your family.
May God bless you.
Sincerely,
Mavis Bennett

Please accept my sincere condolences. I went to school with Charles at Hofstra and played football there with him. During those days I knew him to be a gentle person. Several years later we worked together at TDW and he was still the same gentle person I knew long ago. Charles was a very loving person.

I am so sorry to hear that Charles died suddenly last week. I knew Charles from TD Waterhouse having started with him in the Chatham, NJ branch and then again in Jersey City. He was always a pleasure to work with, had an inquisitive mind and showed caring and passion for his work. Charles and I went to Saint Peter's to complete our MBA degrees together and we encouraged each other through the process. I always admired Charles for his perseverance and his drive to succeed. We all loved his sense of humor and his wonderful voice.
He truly loved and was devoted to his family. He mentioned his wife and told me about his two boys often.
Even after I left TDW in 2004 I remained in close contact with Charles ever since. He will be surely missed and is definitely in God's hands now.
Peace be with Charles and his family.
Kemi, please let me know if there is anything I may be able to do for you.
