Obituary of Charles Parker

Charles Parker, 85, of Springfield, N.J., passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2012, at home.
The family will be receiving friends at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, N.J., on Wednesday, May 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. with an informal service at 6:15 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, please visit jacobhollefuneralhome.com.
Born in Lvov, Poland, Mr. Parker lived in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn, N.Y., for over 20 years before moving to Springfield three years ago. He was the owner of Lunar Air Transport, an import/export company in New York City, for over 20 years before retiring. Mr. Parker served in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1957.
He was the beloved father of Joanna Parker-Lentz, and devoted grandfather of Anya, Kate and Jake Parker-Lentz.
