Obituary of Rose Mary Centanni

Rose Mary Centanni, 96, passed away on Monday April 23rd, 2018 at The Cliffs in West Orange.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave. South Orange on Friday at 9:30 AM. The funeral mass will be offered at St. Rose of Lima Church, East Hanover on Friday at 11 AM. Entombment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4-8 PM.

Born in Newark, Rose Mary lived most of her life in Short Hills, Mantoloking Shores and the last 3 years in West Orange. She was a homemaker. She was involved with the Ladies Auxiliary of St. Rose of Lima Church, as well as the PTA of the Millburn School System. She enjoyed many summers at her Mantoloking Shore house with her family, as well as winters in Lake Worth, Florida.

Rose Mary was the wife of the late James Gerard Centanni Sr.; mother of James G. Centanni Jr. and his wife Catherine, Joseph Centanni and his wife Peggy, and Thomas Centanni and his late wife Missy; sister of Mary Percario of Short Hills and the late Michelin Mascia. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
