Obituary of Rosemary Weiss
Rosemary Taglienti Weiss of South Orange died on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, at home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12. Interment is in St. Teresa's Cemetery, Summit. Born in Orange, Mrs. Weiss lived in South Orange for 44 years. She was an administrative assistant in the late 1950's and early 1960's at Bell Labs in Murray Hill, and participated in the testing of the first push button telephone and the artificial larynx. Mrs. Weiss was a member of the Maplewood Woman's Club.
She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred F. Weiss; devoted mother of Kathryn Hallam and her husband, Ross, Rick Weiss and his wife, Joan, and Dean Weiss and his wife, Eileen; dear sister of Angelo and the late Frank Taglienti, and loving grandmother of Amelia, Luke, Adam, Jennifer, Kristin, Jessica, Brenden, Micaela, Grace and Olivia.
