Born in Orange on Sept. 5, 1947, Lynda attended the Marylawn School from first grade through high school. She graduated from Marymount College, Virginia, in 1967. Lynda lived and worked in New York City for 30 years. She began her career in advertising, working for Chalk, Nissen & Hamft as an account executive for such firms as London Fog, After Six, KTL-TV and many more. She then formed her own firm, L.H. Cataldo Associates, where she produced ad campaigns by coordinating clients with vendors, photographers, models and sites throughout New York City. After 25 years, she retired from that phase of her life and began to work at her family-owned company, Spartan Sales, in Hillside, where she stayed until it was sold in 2006.
Lynda was the devoted daughter of Helen Cullen Cataldo and the late Anthony Cataldo, and loving sister of James and Louis Cataldo.
