Obituary of Ernest J. Kunzle

Ernest J. Kunzle, 90, of Irvington, N.J., for 79 years, died on Sunday, May 23, 2010, at his daughter's residence. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at The Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, on Wednesday, May 26, at 11 a.m. Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. The family would like to express their gratitude to the home health aides for their loving care for Ernest. He was the owner and operator of Custom Builders in Irvington for many years before retiring. Mr. Kunzle served in World War II with the U.S. Army, stationed in Italy in the 10th Mountain Division. He was the beloved husband of Margaret Neupauer Kunzle; devoted father of Margaret "Peggy" Everett, Donna Lackey, Rita Kunzle, Nina Hunchak and the late Neil Kunzle, and dear brother of the late Paul Kunzle and Louise Culina. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
