Remedios Vinluan Cambria, 59, of Newark died on Monday, Nov. 22, 2010, at St. Barnabas Hospice at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, N.J., on Monday, Nov. 29, at 10 a.m. Interment is private. The family will be receiving friends at The Jacob A. Born in La Union, Philippines, Mrs. Cambria lived in Newark, N.J., for 27 years. She was director of industrial chemistry for L'Oreal, Piscataway, N.J., where she worked from 1982 until the present. Mrs. Cambria was the treasurer of the N.J. Ilokano Association for many years. She had earned a B.A. in engineering from the Mapua Insititute of Technology, Philippines.
Mrs. Cambria was the beloved wife of Stephen R. Cambria; devoted mother of Stephanie A. Cambria, and Carmen J. Cambria and his wife, Tracy; loving grandmother of Collin Jacob Cambria, and dear sister of Relan, Rosito, Rudolfo, Ruben, Rodrigo, Romito, Roger, and Raymond Vinluan.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Saint Barnabas Hospice and Palliative Care Center at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, 201 Lyons Ave. at Osborne Terrace, Unit D-12, Newark, N.J. 07112, would be appreciated.
