Roderick was a cool dude. When we used to get into trouble he would be right there with us :) He never let his limp stop him from playin ball or getting girls.
his brother Garth was cool too and always had his back.
We love you bro. Rest in peace.

I haven't seen rod in about 25 years, but I do remember his kindness and friendship. He was the first person on the block with colleco vision. Those joysticks were crazy, we had good times . May God always shine over you. RIP.

I remember Roderick from P.S.41, he was a quiet friendly guy, he always waved when i said hello. Seemed shy at first but I knew he was just like the rest of us, fun and outgoing, he will be missed, sadly when all of us are about to reunite from school days, he will be remembered always!

I stumbled upon this site by accident.I am honored to have known Roddy. He was a wonderful man. I remember when I was in a discussion with my husband because I got a new hairstyle, and my husband was being mean about it,but Roddy stepped in like a gentleman, without getting in the middle, and said you look amazing. This made my husband get quiet and I did not hear another thing about it, ever.
Also, he knew that my spouse had certain moral weaknesses, and his final Christmas voice-mail to him was to be good to your wife. I appreciate him standing up for the helpless, and I am honored to have known a man of character and integrity such as Roderick Naar. The world was a brighter place with him it. He will be missed.
