Antoinette Sutula (nee Torsiello) of South Orange, 80, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012, in the Stratford Manor Nursing Home, West Orange. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady Of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, N.J., on Wednesday, July 11, at 9:30 a.m. Interment is in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, please visit prestonfuneralhome.net. Mrs. Sutula was born in Orange, N.J., and lived in South Orange for more than 40 years. She was a typesetter for the Worrall Newspapers in Maplewood from 1981 to 2004, when she retired. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church and also worked as the "pretzel lady" at Our Lady of Sorrows Grammar School. Mrs. Sutula was the beloved wife of the late Joseph S. Sutula; devoted mother of Joseph S. Sutula Jr. and his fiancee, Judith; Jeanne Puleo and her husband, Louis, and James A. Sutula and his wife, Chistina; dear sister of Jennie Magliaro, Carmela Mercadante, Patsy Torsiello, Rose Marie Kelly, Anthony Torsiello, Geraldine Cutrone, Angela McMahon and the late Frances Powell, and loving grandmother of Jessica Mondacci and Sabrinia Puleo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
