I am so sorry for your loss. "Big Grandma" was a remarkable, dynamic woman with the most positive attitude on life. She seemed to make an impact on everyone in the family and everyone she met. I know that she will be sorely missed!

My condolences and prayers for Fran's family. I met Fran at the South Orange Vailsburg United Methodist Church. I remember her as an outgoing woman who spoke her mind. She was considerate and helpful. I still have a recipe (in her handwriting) that she gave me for apple crisp, a dessert that she used to make for church functions.

John, I was very sorry to see of your Mom's passing in the Star Ledger. I know we haven't spoken since softball stopped back in the early 1980s, but reading the obits is my business, too.
