William J. “ Billy” Donahue, 80 of Maplewood passed away at St. Barnabas Hospital on Sept 4, 2018.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Church,  50 Short Hills Ave. Short Hills on Sat, Sept 22nd  at 11:15 AM. Entombment St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.  Visitation will be held at The Jacob Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood on Friday, Sept 21st from 4:00-8:00 PM.  Billy was born in Irvington and lived in Maplewood for the past thirty five years. He was a Bus Operator for NJ Transit from 1964-2002 when he retired. Billy is survived by his beloved wife Theresa Ricca Donahue, sons Joseph and Kevin Donahue,  loving sister- in- law and brother-in-law Blanche and Kenny Simpson, nephew John Simpson, nieces Lori Van Orden (Gregg) and Jamie Kerr (Chris), grand nieces and nephews Gregg, Taylor and Grant Van Orden and Chris, Bianca and Matthew Kerr.
