I'll always remember Uncle John's sense of humor, how he encouraged his family to engage in lively conversations regarding politics, how he always kept physically and mentally fit, his home movies, the never ending picture taking, his pot roast dinners and pan sized pancakes, how he made sure that I had made it home in a snow storm, how he celebrated birthdays with his family and how he loved his children, grandchildren and most of all Aunt Mary Ann. Love you Uncle John... Thanks for taking care of us too.

To Mary Ann and all the Sullivans- I saw in the Star Ledger that John died and want you to know how very sad I am to hear of your great loss. I have wonderful memories of being with all your clan and I remember John as being a gentle presence amidst all the activity. I am unable to attend the funeral mass but will be with you in spirit. Dad sends his condolences, too. May John rest in peace. Love, Kathy
