Obituary of Edward L Lambert

Edward L. Lambert passed away on Nov. 21, 2012. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the celebration of his life on Tuesday, Nov. 27, at St. James A.M.E. Church, 588 Martin Luther King Blvd., Newark, N.J. Viewing will be held at the church at 10 a.m. with services to follow at 11 a.m. The Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Hillside, N.J. Repast will follow at the church. Edward was born in Newark , N.J., and was a resident of South Orange for 37 years. He retired as network administrator for the City of Newark, N.J. Edward was a member and past master of Golden Rule Lodge No. 24. He was a 33rd degree member of the Douglas Consistory No. 10 and also a member of Golconda Temple No. 24. Edward L. Lambert was the beloved husband of Susie P. Lambert; loving father of Karla L. Braithwaite and Keith E. Lambert; devoted grandfather of Parker E. Lambert; dear brother of Mabel Walker and John Lambert Jr. Edward is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
