Obituary of Jaikisan Achaibar

Jaikisan Achaibar Safety engineer with NYC Transit Authority, 59 Jaikisan Achaibar, 59, of Maplewood, N.J., died on Tuesday, March 17, 2015, in Saint Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Rosedale Crematory Chapel, 408 Orange Rd., Montclair, N.J., on Sunday, March 22, at 11:30 a.m. A visitation will be held at The Jacob A. Born in Guyana, Mr. Achaibar lived in Maplewood. He graduated from the University of Tennessee and Columbia University, with a Ph.D. in geology and economics. Mr. Achaibar was a safety engineer with the NYC Transit Authority for over 20 years. He was the loving son of Jaigobin and Mantoria Achaibar; dear brother of Chitra Prasad, Swarupa Singh, Aruna Jaggan, and Ravi Achaibar. He is also survived by four nieces, two nephews, and two grandnephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Barnabas Hospice, 95 Old Short Hills Road, West Orange, N.J. 07052 would be appreciated.
