Jennie Gravagna Cuozzo, 83, of South Orange, N.J., died on Monday, April 9, 2012, in the Daughters of Israel, West Orange, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady Of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Friday, April 13, at 10:30 a.m. Interment is in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Montclair, N.J. Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave, South Orange, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. For more information or to send condolences please visit prestonfuneralhome.net Born in Montclair, Jennie lived in South Orange for 51 years. She was employed with Seton Hall University in South Orange as a gift accountant in the university advancement department for 18 years before retiring. She was a 1948 graduate of the Berkeley School of Business. She was a past member of Our Lady of Sorrows Rosary Society. Jennie took particular delight in hosting family gatherings. Nothing gave her more pleasure than those times when her house was filled with the smiles and laughter of her grandchildren, and the dinners and barbecues at Grandma Jennie's were special occasions for everyone involved. She was a loving mother and devoted sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. Beloved wife of the late Vincent J. Cuozzo, she was the devoted mother of Carmine F. and his wife, Karen, Marylu Merrigan and her husband, Brian, Barbara A., Frederick J., Vincent J. and his wife, Dawn, Michael T., and David and his wife, Lisa; dear sister of Connie Fastiggi, Angelo Gravagna and Mary Pier; loving grandmother of Bryan, Matthew, Nicholas, Emily, John, Kate, Jennifer, Richard, Danielle, Vincent, and Christina.
