Obituary of Carmela Treccariche

Carmela (Emily) Treccariche (née Agliozzo), 87, passed away on Friday, Nov. 16, 2012, in Charlottesville, Virginia. Carmela, born Jan. 21, 1925, in Newark, N.J., to her beloved late parents, Fortunato Agliozzo and Gaetana Crisafulli. Carmela then moved to Brooklyn, N.Y., and then to Maplewood, N.J., where she lived for 40 years, before moving to Virginia. Beloved wife of the late Frank J. Treccariche and devoted mother of both, son Joseph F. Treccariche and daughter Mary Stavros, who she leaves behind. Carmela also leaves behind her only loving granddaughter, Brittany Angelica Stavros, and her three grandsons, Derek and Jasper Brodie and David Treccariche. She also leaves behind her only brother, Carl E. Agliozzo, MD, and her late sister, Mary Fiorito. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect Street, South Orange, N.J., on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at 10:30 AM.
