Obituary of Joanne Ogurek

Joanne Ogurek of Short Hills, N.J. died on June 4, 2012. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, N.J., on Monday, June 11, at 9 a.m., thence to St. Rose of Lima Church, Short Hills, N.J., where a Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Entombment will follow. Visiting hours on Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. Joanne was a former restaurateur and EMT on the Millburn-Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad. She was past president of the Deerfield Civic Association, a certified residential broker, past manager at Degnan and a realtor at Burgdorff and for 15 years at Weichert Realtors until her death. She was the beloved mother of Alfred G. Ogurek and Barbara Ogurek-Leo; beloved mother-in-law of Robin Ogurek and Joseph Leo, and loving grandmother of four grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Millburn-Short Hills Volunteer First Aid Squad, 188 Glen Ave., Millburn, N.J. 07041 and the Millburn Public Library, 200 Glen Ave., Millburn, N.J. 07041 would be appreciated.
