Rita M. Montalto, 72, died on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at home in Millburn, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, N.J., on Monday, Feb. 18, at 10 a.m. Interment is private. Visitation will be held at the Jacob A. Holle Funeral Home, 2122 Millburn Ave., Maplewood, N.J., on Sunday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. For more information or to send condolences please visit jacobhollefuneralhome.com. Rita was born in Newark, N.J., to father Henry and mother Jennie Olla and lived in Millburn, N.J., for most of her life. She graduated from Millburn High School and worked as an account manager at Alpha Trading in Jersey City, N.J., for the past 25 years. Rita was the loving mother of son Joseph and his wife, Jill; son Marc; son Gregg and his wife, Darla, and daughter Gynine; cherished grandmother of Olivia, Ally, Jack and Taylor; sister to Marilyn and Henry and his wife, Lorraine. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and devoted friends. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, cooking and her time with her family and friends at the Jersey Shore. Rita graced us with her love and wisdom, and left us to always remember her with love on Valentine's Day.
