Sharon J. Mannarino, 78, of Wayne, N.J., formerly of Morris Plains, N.J., and South Orange, N.J., died on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013, at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pompton Plains, N.J. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady Of Sorrows Church, 217 Prospect St., South Orange, on Thursday, Nov. 21, at 10:30 a.m. Interment is in Pleasantdale Cemetery, West Orange, N.J. Visitation will be held at Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave., South Orange, on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. For more information or to send condolences, please visit prestonfuneralhome.net. Born in Jersey City, N.J., Sharon lived in Morris Plains and South Orange before moving to Wayne 16 years ago. She received her B.A. from Trenton State College in 1957. Sharon was employed by the East Hanover Board of Education as a physical education teacher at Hanover Park High School from 1960 to 1997 when she retired. She was the beloved wife of the late Neil D. Beaver; devoted mother of Eric N. Beaver; loving daughter of the late James D. and Ruth Murphy; dear sister of the late John T. Murphy; loving sister-in-law of Sandra Murphy, and dear aunt of Meredith Rock, James T., and Kevin R. Murphy. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society , P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, Okla. 73123 would be appreciated.
