Mary Jane joined us at Manhattanville in June for our 50th reunion, and we were all so pleased to renew our friendships with her. To know now that we would lose her three months later is especially sad. Condolences to Jim and to the family she adored talking about.

My memories of Mary Jane are only good ones. She trusted her most prized possessions with me... her boys. She was one of my favorite soccer parents. Cheered for the boys and supported the team. Rowdies parties, Strikers trips, God knows why she trusted me. She was a wonderful mother, great husband, great friend and a real throwback to how a parent should support their child through athletics. Thanks for trusting me Mary Jane. You will be missed and remembered fondly. All God's blessings.

Gib and I were so sad to hear about Mary Jane. She was such a lovely and caring lady. I have wonderful memories of her making up sandwiches and packing grapes for the children at UYI. She would laugh and say she was good at it because of all the practice she had making sandwiches for her 8 younger siblings. We will all miss our good friend.
We deeply regret that we cannot be with you this Friday.
Our love and prayers are with you, Pam and Gib Harris

Please know that you, Jim, and your wonderful family are in our thoughts and prayers. We "cherished" our friend Mary Jane, also, and felt that she showered us, as she did her family, "with great care, love and wisdom". Her smile and love of life were contagious! I shall miss my golf and bridge buddy!
We shall be thinking of you while we are in Dallas at our daughter's wedding.
God bless and love,
Cathy and Bill Finn

The Milton Family--
I am very sorry for your loss.
I will always remember Mary Jane Milton as a kind and loving woman--with an Irish wit. She was one of my mother's best friends.
Mrs. Milton (and family) were especially kind and considerate when my mother was fighting her disease. I will never forget that.
And I will always remember my childhood football days with her son Dennis. They were great times.
I am sure Eleanor and Mary Jane are enjoying each other's company now.
I will pray for your family during this difficult time.
Jim McCarthy

Mrs. Milton was a big part of my family's life--great friend to my mother, sparring partner with my father and the "mom" of my brother Jim's close friend Dennis. She was always interested, patient, kind and thoughtful. I will miss her very much. My condolences to Mr. Milton and the Milton boys.
