Barbara L. Wilderotter Rinkor, 89, of Maplewood, N.J., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, in Overlook Medical Center, Summit, N.J.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 767 Prospect St., Maplewood, on Saturday, Dec. 21, at 10 a.m. The family will be receiving friends at The Jacob A. Born in Newark, N.J., Mrs. Rinkor was a resident of Maplewood for the past 15 years and was formerly of Quogue, N.Y., and Short Hills, N.J., where she lived from 1960 to 1980. She was a graduate of Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, Pa., where she received a B.S. in Economics. A homemaker, Mrs. Rinkor was a past member of the Westhampton Country Club and Surf Club, both in Quogue, N.Y. She was a volunteer at St. Anne's School in Newark, N.J., and the Quogue Library.
Mrs. Rinkor was the beloved wife of the late Wilfred J. Rinkor; devoted mother of Catherine Rinkor and the late Robert Rinkor; loving grandmother of Gavin and John Rinkor; cherished daughter of the late Charles and Augusta (Hepp) Wilderotter; dear sister of the late Carl, Arthur and Robert Wilderotter; and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
